    For anyone who wants to learn first aid skills so they can recognise emergency situations, treat minor conditions and take appropriate action at the time of an incident. Meets the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 requirement for employers to provide adequate first aid provision.

    • The role of a first aider, health and safety regulations, first aid box
    • Danger, airway, response and breathing
    • Dealing with the unresponsive, resuscitation (CPR), defibrillators
    • The recovery position
    • Choking, wounds and bleeding, shock
    • Burns, eye injuries, fractures, dislocations, spinal injuries
    • Asthma, allergic reactions, nose bleeds, fainting, sprains
    • Record keeping
